Description:  Explore Classes are like mini camps. They are short units designed to allow students to try new things for a short amount of time; whetting their curiosity to new ideas or activities – or circle back to something they really liked. Every semester offers a variety of subjects and activities.

2025-2026

Semester 1

• BUGS! This class will be part science, part art, and 100% hands-on.

• KNIGHTS & PRINCESSES This isn't a fairy tale class. We'll learn about real life in medieval times and also who we are in God's Kingdom!

• STICKS & STONES: We'll be creating fun and unique art pieces from God's own creation.

Semester 2

• WINTER OLYMPICS: Learn about Italy, da Vinci, and play games based on the Winter Olympics

• MR. BONES: In this class, we will learn about the systems in our body through hands-on projects

• MINNESOTA MARVELS:  Explore our state with art and science.

Explore is registered for by semester.  If you are not interested in the entire semester, please contact the Registrar. 

Tutor: Kristi Beil is a licensed K-6 teacher and thought she would spend her career teaching in the public school system - but God had a different plan for her and her family. Kristi never considered the possibility of homeschooling her four children, but she did! After 16 years of homeschooling, her children are all graduated and now she continues teaching children and guiding other homeschool parents on their journey to educate their kids. Mrs. Beil has taught all ages of kids, in all manner of homeschool co-ops. Her natural curiosity, play, and love of learning bring her classes to life.
