Description: In this class we will explore the basic elements of design; line, color, texture, form, shape, value, and space. We will be working in both 2D and 3D. The majority of class time will be spent learning different techniques and using our hands to sculpt, draw and paint using a variety of medium.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the CHAT Christmas Celebration and the Spring Showcase.

Tutor:  Kara Hammond holds a B.A. in Art Education from Bethel University. She has taught homeschool art and drawing classes in the past and is now busy raising her 5 daughters. She and her husband live in St. Louis Park where her husband pastors a church.

Cost:  $164, $174 or $184 per semester (depending on registration date)

Text & Supplies: The price of the class (above) covers most of the materials. The students may be asked to bring in additional materials during the course of the semester. These would be items families would have at home. (i.e. old CDs, tin cans, etc)
