Cooking: This is a hands-on cooking and tasting class that gives students an opportunity to learn and have fun in the kitchen. There are many things young chefs can safely make in the kitchen, such as pasta, crackers, appetizers, donuts, dips, etc. Students will be involved from the preparation to the clean-up! Habitats: Students will learn about Earth’s habitats with hands on projects and activities. Each week we will highlight a new habitat, explore new ideas, and use this new information to create! Best of all, we will learn and have fun with our community! Tutor: Ashley Bergman has a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, where she studied Biology and Communications. She began homeschooling her 4 children in 2016. A year later, she began teaching homeschool classes. In the years following, she created a new homeschool community and began directing a co-op. Ashley enjoys working and learning alongside children, helping them develop the love and passion for learning. She finds deep joy helping students see the handiwork of God in their every day and within their daily studies. Tutor: Kara Hammond holds a B.A. in Art Education from Bethel University. She has taught homeschool art and drawing classes in the past and is now busy raising her 5 daughters. She and her husband live in St. Louis Park where her husband pastors a church.
