eCHAT 1st Grade
Tutor: Christina Sluka
Length: Full Year Class Period: Thursday, 9:45 - 1:45

Description:  This class explores various themes through literature, geography, math, science, art, writing, and music including Spanish songs and phrases. Students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively and individually. Each child will also prepare one topic to share with the class per semester. This is a great opportunity to build friendships while discovering new things about God, His world, and their role in it.

Kids will be invited to sing a song for the Christmas program and Spring showcase.

Snacks, Lunch, and Water Bottles:  Children can bring a water bottle and a simple, healthy snack. Apple slices, a banana, or cut vegetables are great options. Students will also need to bring a sack lunch and will be supervised during their lunch period.

Important note: This class runs from 9:45 - 1:45, which is reflected in the tuition amount listed on the registration form.  Contact Laura with questions regarding this.

The Christmas Celebration date is Thursday, December 14, 2019.  The Spring Showcase is Monday, May 11, 2020.

Class Visits:  There are two class days during the year when parents of prospective students can observe the class.  The first is the week before Thanksgiving, and the other is the week after the spring open house. Please contact Laura Johnson if you would like to visit.
