Tutor: Kristi Beil
Email:Kristi.Beil@CHATclasses.com
Length: Full Year Class Period: Thursday, period 2 (9:45 - 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 - 2:00)  This is a full day class.

Description:  In Mrs. Beil’s 1st Grade Class, we are going to dip our toes into “school” while focusing more on the fun and friendship aspect of learning. Children learn best through play, so our day together will look more like play and messy fun. Each week, we will explore American history, science, literature, character, math,  (and more), and re-enforce how God fits into all of it.

Snacks, Lunch, and Water Bottles:  Children should bring a water bottle every week and 2 healthy snacks, such as apple slices, cut veggies, or a protein snack. Children should be able to open/peel their snack on their own. Students will also need to bring a sack lunch and will be supervised during their lunch period.

Important note: This class runs from 9:45 - 2:00, which is reflected in the tuition amount listed on the registration form.  Contact Laura with questions regarding this.

Tutor: Kristi Beil is a licensed K-6 teacher and thought she would spend her career teaching in the public school system - but God had a different plan for her and her family. Kristi never considered the possibility of homeschooling her four children, but she did! After 16 years of homeschooling, her children are all graduated and now she continues teaching children and guiding other homeschool parents on their journey to educate their kids. Mrs. Beil has taught all ages of kids, in all manner of homeschool co-ops. Her natural curiosity, play, and love of learning bring her classes to life.
