eCHAT 2nd Grade
Tutor: Christina Sluka
Length: Full Year Class Period: Thursday, 9:45 - 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 - 2:00  (This is a full day class.)

Description:  This class will incorporate activities in language arts, art, science, social studies, math, and Bible in a fun and engaging environment. There will be opportunities to work collaboratively with group activities as well as individually. One primary group collaborative will include Readers Theater performance(s). This is a great opportunity to build friendships while discovering new things about God, His world, and their role in it.

Important note: This is a full day class, which is reflected in the tuition amount listed on the registration form. There is a $5 lunch fee included in the price of the class to cover the cost of having a designated  lunch monitor.

Class Visits:  There are two class days during the year when parents of prospective students can observe the class.  The first is the week before Thanksgiving, and the other is the week after the spring open house. Please contact Laura Johnson if you would like to visit.

Tutor: Christina Sluka, with her husband, David, educated their four children at home for over 10 years. She has a M.A. in curriculum and instruction from the University of St. Thomas including a K-6 elementary teaching license. Their family has served as missionaries in the metro area and overseas.
