Early Elementary Enrichment (EEE)
(Grades 1-2)
Tutor: Christina Sluka
Email: christina.sluka@gmail.com
Length: Full Year Class Period: Thursday, 9:45 - 11:30 a.m.

Description:  This literature-based class will alternate hands-on activities in art, math, and science while building language arts skills each week.  Children will work independently and collaboratively with classmates. Each child will memorize and recite a Bible verse weekly and prepare one topic to share with the class per semester. This is a great opportunity to build friendships while discovering new things about God, His creation, and our role to steward His gifts well.

Please note:  Your child will need to bring a snack  to class each week.

The class will recite memory verses at the CHAT Fall and Spring Showcase.

The Christmas Celebration date is Thursday, December 14, 2017.  The Spring Showcase is Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Perspective Student Class Visits:  There are 2 class days during the year where parents of perspecitve students can visit the class in action.  The first is the week before Thanksgiving, and the other is the week after the spring open house.  Please contact Laura if you would like to visit.

Tutor: Christina Sluka, with her husband, David, educated their four children at home for over 10 years. She has a M.A. in curriculum and instruction from the University of St. Thomas including a K-6 elementary teaching license. Their family has served as missionaries in the metro area and overseas. Her desire is for children to encounter the love of God and know who they are in Christ so they can advance the kingdom of God wherever He leads them.
