Early Elementary Enrichment Extended (EEEE)

Description:  This class is for students currently enrolled in EEE who want to extend their day. Topics covered during these ninety minutes will include music skills and Spanish language and culture. 

Each student will need to bring a lunch to class each week.

The class will perform at the Christmas celebration in December and at the spring showcase in May.

The Christmas Celebration date is Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.  The Spring Showcase is Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.

Tutor: Christina Sluka, with her husband, David, educated their four children at home for many years. She has a M.A. in curriculum and instruction from the University of St. Thomas including a K-6 elementary teaching license. Their family has served as missionaries in the metro area and overseas. Her desire is for children to encounter the love of God and know who they are in Christ so they can advance the kingdom of God wherever He leads them.

Level: Grades 1-2
Prerequisite: Interest in learning more about music and Spanish, able to pay attention and listen for 30 minutes, and read sentences fluently in English.  These students are required to attend both the Christmas program and spring showcase since there will be weeks dedicated to preparation for it.
Homework: Practice Spanish 10 min/day at least three days/week or songs for Christmas program
