Description: In this class we will celebrate how wonderfully made we are and will be encouraged to take good care of our bodies. We will explore movement, learn stunts & tumbling, ball handling and sport skills. We will engage in team relays and many group games. The goal being fitness and fun! Students should wear t-shirt, loose-fitting shorts or pants and gym shoes.
This is a full year class, but new students are welcome to join 2nd semester.
Note: Because of the extra rental expense for the gym, we are asking that the initial $60 of your tuition be paid to CHAT and the remaining $30 check be made out to the tutor. You will see this noted on the registration form. (If you are paying the entire amount at the time of registration, you can write a single check and make it out to CHAT.)
Tutor: Dana Piper was a kindergarten teacher for two years before starting her own “school” for her four children. Before teaching kindergarten she worked for the YMCA as a school age site director along with teaching dance, kickboxing, swimming and water ﬁtness classes. She also taught gym classes for a homeschool co-op. Dana has a passion to educate children on the importance of a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
