Description: In this class we will celebrate how wonderfully made we are and will be encouraged to take good care of our bodies.  We will explore movement, coordination, ball handling and sport skills.  We will engage in team relays and many group games.  The goal being fitness and fun!  Students should wear t-shirt, loose-fitting shorts or pants and gym shoes.

This is a full year class, but new students are welcome to join second semester.

Covid - 19 Contingency Plan - In the event that we are forced to transition to online classes at any point in the school year, this class will continue to be held.  Parents not wishing to continue can opt out and will receive a refund at the end of the semester for any classes that are not held.  Note:  For isolated in-person class cancellations due to a Covid exposure, this class will meet online unless the tutor decides otherwise.

Tutor: Sarah Nelson graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a B.A. in History and Art History, and also studied at De Medici Institute in Florence, Italy. She has been working as a dance and acrobatics instructor since 2016, training students of all ages and abilities. Though she works mainly with dancers and gymnasts, she has also done strength training with soccer players, ice skaters, basketball players, and volleyball players. She has studied under a physical therapist, learning how to integrate PT and injury prevention work into dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics training. As a former soccer player and dancer, she has always had a love for athletics and the outdoors and is always looking for creative ways to combine the two. In her free time Sarah enjoys painting, dancing, paddle boarding, and camping.

Cost:  $132, $142, or $152 per semester (depending on registration date)
