Description:
This class is for those Karate students who have a goal of attaining their 1st or 2nd degree Black Belt by the end of this school year. In addition to the class, students should plan on ½ hour - 45 minutes of home practice 4-5 times a week. Although not guaranteed, if a student takes this course and does the required work there is a very good chance that they will be able to pass the grueling Black Belt test. “And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5 Uniforms and belts must be worn at all classes and karate events. Uniform shirts cost $25 and may be ordered at: https://sterlingkarate.com/shop/ Belt Fee: $20 is included in the price of the class to cover the cost for the student's belt. (This will be refunded if the student does not achieve a new belt level before the end of the semester.) Tutor: Peter Sterling has achieved a 3rd degree black belt and has taught Karate/self defense to thousands of students over the years. His students and families genuinely respect him for the knowledge he shares, the style in which he teaches, and the importance he places on Christ-centered teaching. Utilizing scripture, Peter supports the development of strength, character, and confidence in all Sterling Karate students. Cost:
