Description: From percentages and problem solving to personal finances and the Pythagorean rule, this class helps your child review concepts from previous years, and jump into new ideas to prepare him/her for pre-algebra. This course reviews fractions, decimals, percentages, and applies them to life situations.  Basic geometry is introduced in problem solving exercises to encourage application of concepts.
 

Tutor: Christina Sluka, with her husband, David, educated their four children at home for many years. She has a M.A. in curriculum and instruction from the University of St. Thomas including a K-6 elementary teaching license. Their family has served as missionaries in the metro area and overseas. Her desire is for children to encounter the love of God and know who they are in Christ so they can advance the kingdom of God wherever He leads them.
