Length: 2nd semester class Class Period: Thursday, period 1

Description: A continuation of concepts introduced in Photography 1. Students will continue to practice previously learned skills as well as learn new concepts. This semester we will be focusing on the art of black and white photography, portrait work, and an introduction to event photography. Class projects will include live shoots, stop motion videos, and a mock magazine project. New students accepted with tutor permission.

Students will be responsible for regular shooting assignments to be shown during each class time.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the CHAT Spring Showcase.

Important Note:  This class will not meet on January 16, 23, and 30.  The first class period will be February 6.  The tuition has been prorated accordingly.

The Spring Showcase is Monday, May 11, 2020.

Tutor: Tina Culbertson is a professional photographer owning her own business since 2005. Mrs. Culbertson is in her 22nd year of homeschooling and is currently working with other homeschool groups in the community to provide picture day events as well as photography instruction.

Cost:  $166
: Grades 7-12
Prerequisite: Photography 1 or tutor approval
Homework: Shooting assignments

Supplies: Each student will need to bring a digital camera (any type) that they will be responsible for, a spiral notebook or paper, and pen/pencil. All other handouts will be provided.
