Length: 2nd semester class Class Period: Thursday, period 3

Description: A continuation of concepts introduced in Photography 1.  Students will continue to practice previously learned skills as well as learn new concepts. This semester we will be focusing on the art of black and white photography, portrait work, and an introduction to event photography. Class projects will include live shoots, stop motion videos, and a mock magazine project.

Students will be responsible for regular shooting assignments to be shown during each class time.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the CHAT Spring Showcase.

Please note:  This class will not begin until February 2nd, so the tuition has been prorated for 13 weeks instead of 15.

The Spring Showcase is Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Tutor: Tina Culbertson is a professional photographer owning her own business for the past 11 years. Mrs. Culbertson is in her 20th year of homeschooling and is currently working with other homeschool groups in the community to provide picture day events as well as photography instruction.

Level: Grades 7-12
Prerequisite: Photography 1 or tutor approval

Supplies: Each student will need to bring a digital camera that they will be responsible for, inch 3 ring binder, and pen/pencil. All other handouts will be provided. $12 for handouts and matting
