Salsa Rueda
Tutors: Kim Nelson
Length: 2nd semester Class Period:  Wednesday, period 2

Description: Salsa rueda (translated "wheel") is a called dance performed in a circle, in which there are many different partner moves, group moves, combinations, and partner switching. It is high energy and a lot of fun. The calls are all in Spanish, which adds to the fun, but you don't need to to know any Spanish to dance rueda. The students will have the option of performing a salsa rueda at the CHAT Spring Showcase. This is a fun way to get some physical education credit!

The Rueda class will perform at the CHAT Spring Showcase performance if Covid restrictions allow.

Covid - 19 Contingency Plan - In the event that we are forced to transition to online classes at any point in the school year, this class will NOT be held.  Parents will receive a refund at the end of the semester for any classes that are not held.

Here is the Rueda performance from May, 2012:

Note: This is a 60 minute class. The tuition has been prorated accordingly.
