Hi Everyone,

The registration is set to go online tomorrow (Friday), November 1st at 8:00 a.m.  The link on the Registration page of our website will not be live until November 15th, which is when registration opens for non-CHAT families.  Please use this link to register before the 15th.

Here is some important information and dates:
 
Important Notes (Please read them all!)

Registration Notes:

• Even if you are enrolled in a full year class, you still need to register for the 2nd semester of that class!  Because you already filled out the family, medical, and legal information in your fall registration, you should use the Continuing Families option in the form. 
  
• If you are a continuing family and you are adding a new student from your family who was not included in your fall registration form, then use the Continuing Families form for your returning students and the Add a Student form for your new student.  (You will fill out the registration form twice.)

Important Dates:

Here are the important dates for your registration:

• Current CHAT families will have the opportunity to register for classes before new families.  Registration for new families will begin on November 15.
  
• The early tuition rate runs through November. 
  
• If your student is enrolled in a full year class, their spot will be reserved for them until November 15th.  At that time we will allow new students to be added.  We had waiting lists for a number of classes this fall, so make sure you get your registrations in by the 15th to guarantee your spot!
• If you are hoping to switch your schedule around and/or get into a class that was full in the fall, go ahead and register for those classes, but know that they will be on a waiting list until November 15.  Please make a note in the Comments if there is a 2nd choice for a class.  (For example, if you were in 3-4 gym but would like to do Venture instead, let me know that you still want gym if Venture is full.)
  
• The tuition rate goes up by $10 per class on December 1st and another $10 per class on December 15th.
• If you register December 15th or later, you will need to pay with Paypal or credit card, unless other arrangements are made.
• eCHAT Explore classes:  Parents who sign up for both Explore classes will be given priority over those who just want to sign up for 1.  This priority runs through November 15 only.
  

Payment Details:

• You have the same payment options that you had in the fall, but for the spring semester you must pay with a single payment.
• Once you register, you will receive either an invoice or a receipt (depending on how you paid).  Those who are paying by check or bank transfer will receive their receipt after funds have been received and processed. 
• If you pay by check, keep in mind that your registration date will be the date that your check arrives.  Don't forget to either bring your check to CHAT or get it in the mail right away!
  
• Once I have processed your registration and added your student(s) to the class rosters, I will email you a confirmation for each class.  It's important that you check to make sure you have received a confirmation for each class. (The first batch of confirmation emails will go out after the November 15th deadline.)

Volunteering:

Families can again choose to buy out of their volunteer positions for $40 if they do not want to volunteer.  All other families will be expected to sign up for a volunteer position.  Any family that does not sign up or fails to show up for their assigned time will be charged $40.  It has worked well having that $40 to give to a parent who fills in for those extra spots.  An email will be sent out in January when the spring SignUp Genius is up and running.
