Here are a couple reminders:
Dress Code
As the weather warms up, please be mindful of our Dress Code out of respect for our student body.
This is not the full policy, but the ones that need the most attention:
- No midriff showing - shirt and pants must overlap
- Two inch minimum shoulder straps
- Three inch minimum inseam for shorts
- Skirts must have a minimum length of 3 inches above the knees. Shorter ones allowed if shorts are worn underneath with inseam of 3 inches.
- Entire front and buttocks must be covered if wearing anything snug.
Food Drive
This is the last week to donate to the Food Drive. The winning classes (K-2,3-4,5-6,7-8,9-10, or 11-12) will get root beer floats during lunch next week. We need 200 more items to reach our goal of 350 donated items. Currently, the 3-4 grade class is ahead!
Spirit Week
This week is Spirit Week. Theme is 'Anything But A Backpack! Students are encouraged to bring their books, etc. in anything but a backpack. Time to get creative. And no, your students can't bring you along to carry their things all day.
And one last item to mention:
Tutor Position Opening
Our current Physical Science tutor, Amanda Gardiner, will not be returning next year. She has a new 'job' caring for her new grandbaby. We have loved having her part of our community. If you know of anyone who may be interested in teaching physical science, please pass that along to me.
