Description: This course helps students build confidence and strong relationships by learning how body language, listening skills, and different communication styles shape how we express ourselves and understand others. Students will practice applying these skills in everyday conversations as well as professional situations such as interviews, presentations, and group collaboration. Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, students will develop communication habits that support success in school, future careers, and personal relationships.

Tutor: Lauren Burns is so excited to be joining the CHAT team! She is a graduate of Gustavus with a bachelors in Communications. She has 3 kids she homeschools with her husband Nick and they have a beloved dog Koda! She loves to read, be active and spend time outdoors. In the winter, she loves to ski in between running all the kids to sports. In the summer, she loves spending time by the water! Looking forward to a great year!
