Description: Connect in friendship with other girls at the same stage of life and grow in your ability to detect lies and discern truth based on God's Word! Growing up in our culture can be tough, and it gets even more difficult when we believe lies we may not even realize that we believe. During class, we work our way through the book Lies Girls Believe & The Truth That Sets Them Free by Dannah Gresh and Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. This class will be held discipleship / small group style, with part of our time spent fellowshipping over delicious snacks and projects /activities each week. We will grow in friendship and in our relationship with the Lord as we focus on His truth. Note: This class is 60 minutes in length. Tutor: Bethany Havlik is a homeschool mom of five kids. While she attended and graduated from Maternidad La Luz midwifery school in El Paso, TX, and became a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives, she has largely set midwifery aside to focus on homeschooling and raising her family. Bethany loves birth and babies, family time, reading, dates with her husband Josh, exercising, and Bible study and prayer. She has led or co-led multiple small groups at her church and has a passion for coming alongside others as they grow in their love for God and His Word.
