Description: Students will sing, move, play instruments, and work together in a joyful, hands-on environment as they explore rhythm, melody, and creativity. Through games, songs, and a whole bunch of fun, they will develop steady beat, basic notation skills, and expressive performance while building confidence and collaboration. Students will listen to and create music, discover how sound can tell stories, connect to different cultures and experiences, and explore new composers as they prepare for their Christmas and Spring concerts. Snacks and Water Bottles: Children should bring a water bottle every week and a healthy snack to eat at the beginning of class, such as apple slices, cut veggies, or a protein snack. Children should be able to open/peel their snack on their own. Students will be invited to perform with their class for the Christmas program and spring showcase. Vocal coach/director: Kayla Depoian
is a licensed K-6 teacher with a minor in special education and
