Description: This course is designed to help students build the skills they need for success in high school by giving them meaningful practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will study punctuation, usage, and write a variety of essays. 

Tutor: Stacey Sohn homeschooled both of her children through high school. She tutored junior high and high school students for six years with a local homeschool group. She has a passion to help children see the truth, beauty, and goodness in their education and that God can be found in every subject. Stacey lives in Victoria with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

Cost:  $259, $269, or $279 per semester (depending on registration date)
Level:  Grades 8-9
Prerequisite: English A or tutor approval
Homework:  3-4 hours per week
